Hi! Thanks for visiting my website. My name is Darren, also known as 'Garnhams Driving School'. I am a fully qualified Driving Instructor based in IP5, offering a friendly, professional service at competitive prices. I firmly believe that learning to drive is not just about passing a driving test. It is also about learning a 'life skill' that will help to keep pupils, their passengers, and other road users safe. My aim is to help all pupils achieve those objectives, but also to make the process fun, enjoyable, and informative.

What are your rates for driving lessons?

From my experience, I feel that two hour lessons are most productive for pupils. With that in mind, my simple pricing structure is as follows:

Two hour lesson - £80

Block booking of ten hours (five lessons) - £390

Do you offer automatic and manual driving lessons?

I currently offer manual tuition only.

How many lessons do I need to pass my driving test?

The number of lessons needed to pass your driving test can vary depending on individual progress and experience. In conjunction with the pupil, I would look to progress them at a rate which strikes the balance between cost effectiveness, being thorough, and most importantly - safety.
